The Engineers' Club of St. Louis, organized on December 2, 1868, is the third oldest engineering society in America. In addition to Professional Engineers, its membership includes architects, executives and business administrators, as well as men and women in the technical, scientific, educational, marketing and legal fields.
The Engineers' Club facility on
4359 Lindell Blvd is home to over 950 club members and, through the services of the Engineering Center, to over 50 affiliated Professional Societies, representing over 14,000 members.
The Club is a nonsectarian, nonpolitical, and nonprofit society whose objectives and purposes are to promote the educational and professional improvement of its members, to advance the field of engineering in its several branches, to make available to the general public technical and scientific information and knowledge, and generally to aid in the solution of public questions involving engineering and scientific problems. In the furtherance of these goals, the Club strives through its various committees to develop and plan ongoing educational programs, seminars, symposiums, professional tours, and other technically oriented meetings, events and projects.
It is the mission of the Engineers' Club to promote the educational, social and professional advancement of its members; to assist community leaders, civic organizations and public agencies by providing advice on and giving support to issues which benefit the St. Louis community and to serve as a focal point of engineering activities in the St. Louis area by acting as liaison between the Club's many affiliated societies and maintaining physical facilities which can be used by the engineering community for educational, social and business activities.
